Microsoft publisher!!

This time, i have a chance to learn on how to use Microsoft publisher in the Microsoft office softwares...

this soft ware is very useful because i can use it as my teaching aids in the future...

there are many things that can be done using Microsoft publisher....... we can use this software to create:-

1 - postcard
2 - poster
3 - greeting card
4 - brochure
5 - fliers


after that i try to use it and try anything that useful in the microsoft publisher

I have a lot of fun using this... i tried to do the business cards and also the greeting cards and i thinks it is very use ful in doing this things...teacher can design any cards using Microsoft Publisher and give it to pupils after every semester to encourage them to work harder..

so hope that i can use this software in the future which when i will doing my teaching in schools

Video viewing

this week during the class period, our lecturer told us to show and share our video with the whole class... so, I spent most of my time viewing the videos from my fellow classmates... it was very fun because i can see many kind of creative ideas from my classmates.... we did the videos in pairs and i think the videos are very good because the whole people have different idea on how to to the video...


I really satisfied with the video that i made with my pair because i spent a lot of time in doing it... my partner and i did a lot of efforts in doing the video... the editing part was quite hard because it was our first time doing video editing and we were not quite familiar with the software that we used... i would like to thank my lecturer and friends who help to guide us and also teach us in doing this video... ok see you in the next entry!!

VIDEO EDITING!!

this time we have to create a picture slides video.... We were given lecture about how to create a video using certain softwares... therefore, I learnt a lot of things from this lecture because i can see the importance of using videos as the teaching aids in teaching and learning process in the classroom.... besides that, i also found that the video can attract the pupils and they will be more interested to participate in the classroom activities...

teachers who use video tend to motivate the pupils to learn and also make better understanding for the topic that they pupils learn... the use of video is the prove that integration of technology in teaching gives a lot of benefit to the pupils and also the teachers... it can make the teaching session easier and less time consuming.....

our lecturer set a task for us to create a video with any theme that we like... this task require us to do it in pairs and my pair was fazeah... she is really good because we can quickly come out with an idea about the video.... so, we decided that our theme is "love" and we created a story board for our video so that we can consult our lecturer.... our beloved lecturer approve the theme and she said that our theme and story board is very good..... We just need to proceed with the idea and take some pictures related to the video...

wish us luck for the video and i hope everything will go according to plan...

Audio Editing~!~~

Previously, I learned something new which is audio editing..... Before this i just listen to an audio and most of the audio that i listened was songs because i really like to listen to songs... I always do my work while listening to the songs....

The audio editing is very useful because we can edit the audio the way that we want it to be.... for example I can edit it to make it shorter or I can omit certain part of the audio... besides that, I can also put certain effects in the audio in order to make it more interesting or suit with our intention of editing the audio.... I also learned how to filter or reduce the noise from the audio...

There are certain software that can help us in editing the audio sounds... for instance, the Audacity, goldwave and sony vegas... I have to do a lot of practice in using the software because this things are new things that i learned and need some times to acquire the skill and ability in using the software...

Because of this course, i had a chance to learn about audio editing and i really treasure the knowledge that i get from this course since most of it are new knowledge for me.. I wll try my best to polish this skills because it would benefit me in the future!!!

e-book e-book e-book

e-book is the short for electronic book and it is an electronic version of a traditional print book that can be read by using a personal computer or by using an eBook reader. e-book can be purchased in online store. The most popular method of getting an eBook is to purchase a downloadable file of the eBook from a Web site such as Barnes and Noble to be read from the user's computer or reading device. Generally, an eBook can be downloaded in five minutes or less. Nowadays the world is promoting e-learning and children are all into computers, Internet and electronics. And therefore we as teachers should be up-to-date kind of teacher. We should be better than our pupils so that we would not left behind. besides that, we can also find the new interesting way in delivering the lesson so that we can motivate our pupils to learn and gain intrinsic motivation.

I have to work on my first e-book and i have to think the story line and create the story board for it... i think i would like to integrate mathematics learning in my e-book. i drew the characters and also choose the suitable picture for the background so it would fit the setting of the story...
I found a video that shows an e-book reader and i think you should watch this video so that you would find some idea on how e-book looks like.



I think we should explore more on e-book because i found it is very useful

Photo Editing!!

Previously, i learned how to edit photos and i found it is very interesting and very use for teaching aids..... i think the photo editing will give me some new ideas on how to choose the appropriate teaching materials that can be used in the classroom....

Nowadays, children especially the primary school pupils are more interested to focus on the lesson when there are more concrete materials used in teaching and learning process especially the visual aids.... the will be motivated to learn and have better understanding towards the lesson....

So, during the last class that i attended recently, i learned how to edit the pictures using the FxFoto software... the tools in this software are simple because it is a free software...

After that, i edited the second picture using the Photoshop software.... I learn how to edit this picture from my brother who studied in UUM... he taught me how to use photoshop and the picture is very good for amateur like me...

I cropped Valentino Rossi's picture and put it as the second layer of the picture and result is quite amazing!!

I really love this picture!! I hope i could be a better photo editor... i will polish my talent in using photoshop!!

How to Embed a YouTube Video on Your Blog

First, go to YouTube and find a video that you like. It doesn't have to be a video that you created.

Next, look for the box directly to the right of the video. Not only does this box let you subscribe to videos, it also gives you the code for embedding video. Go to the line marked Embed at the bottom of this box. Click inside the code box next to the word Embed. All of the code text should automatically be highlighted. If not, you'll need to select it. Copy this code. You can copy by right-clicking on your mouse and selecting copy from the drop-down menu.








Next, you need to paste this code into your blog. For this tutorial, I will use Blogger, which is a free blogging service from Google.

Log into your Blogger account and compose a new message for your blog. Select the edit HTMLpaste from the drop-down menu
tab, and paste the code you copied from YouTube. It is important to make sure you have the HTML tab selected first. You can paste the code by right-clicking and selecting

That's it. Press the post button and then preview your blog, to make sure everything works. When readers look at your blog, they'll see the embedded video, and they can click on the play button in the center to view the video. It is possible to modify the HTML code so that the video automatically plays as soon as it is loaded, instead of making the reader click. However, I don't recommend this. It is rude to readers who don't expect video, and it can really drag on users who have slow
